Private Residence
Wainscott, Long Island, NY / 2002–2006
The house was designed as a part-time residence for a young family who resides permanently in London. The layout of the house was derived in part from a previous house that had been severely damaged by fire. The original foundations were retained and extended to accommodate a program that includes a large open kitchen, dining, family, and living room area that open directly to the pool, a private master suite with garden, two kids' rooms, and two guest rooms. The gardens and landscape were design in collaboration with Deborah Nevins.
